As the foremost accountancy body in Africa and a major stakeholder in the Nigeria Project, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) launched a governance performance enhancement programme in October 2017; known as ICAN Accountability Index ICANAI, to assist Government in meeting its goal of efficient and effective service delivery to the citizens.
